Atha Ruja Poderi
Age-old professions like those of blacksmiths, tailors and butchers have become a lost art in the modern world. Nowadays, everything is mass produced, but in tiny pockets of the old world, there are still artisans who resist mass production. Atha Ruja is an artisan winery, dedicated to small-scale production and tailored winemaking. The vineyard was founded in the early ’90s, thanks to Pietro Pittalis and Annita Salis’ shared dream. Their story, like all the most beautiful ones, did not evolve in a linear way like the rows of vines, it was not “love at first sight” but rather the convergence of a two generations-long tradition of winemaking.
